Valencia, September 25, 2023 – The Castellón Chamber of Commerce will hold the I Energy Congress next Wednesday, September 27 in Castellón. This conference aims to address the new paradigm of renewable energies and its impact on a sustainable future.

The event is organized jointly by the Chamber of Castellón and the Council of Chambers of the Valencian Community, with the financial support of the Generalitat Valenciana and the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE). It will bring together experts from various fields to analyze and debate the crucial role that renewable energy plays in the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable future.

The I Energy Congress will have a dynamic program that will include round tables, presentations, and discussion tables, in which highly relevant topics in the energy sector will be addressed. Among the highlighted topics are technology, green energy advice, challenges and opportunities, the sector’s challenges, and the future of hydrogen and decarbonization.

José Manuel Serra, Director of the Instituto de Tecnología Química (UPV-CSIC), will participate in the Discussion Table where he will contribute his perspective and knowledge about renewable energies in the transition towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.

In addition to the participation of José M. Serra, the event will have the collaboration of important companies such as Statkraft, Obremo, Iberdrola, Biovic, and Your Chief Sustainability Officer, as well as the presence of leading institutions in the energy field, such as IVACE, AVAESEN and CENER (National Center for Renewable Energy).
