PhD Research Fellowship in “Synthesis of advanced catalytic materials for CO2 conversion and hydrogen generation”
Available PhD position at the Instituto de Tecnología Química, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia – Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Severo Ochoa Excellence Center.
The candidate will apply sustainable chemical processes for the synthesis and modification of catalytic materials for efficient photo-/electrocatalytic CO2 conversion and hydrogen generation. Catalytic materials such as 2D materials (graphene, boron nitride, carbon nitrides, Mxenes), metal-organic frameworks and supported metal and metal oxides will be explored.
Requirements: Master’s degree in chemistry, Energy, Catalysis, Materials Science, Nanoscience or related field (or its foreseen completion date before September 2024). Good written and oral communication skills in English, motivation, and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team will be valued.
