20th International Zeolite Conference: “Porous Materials, a Tool for a Sustainable Development” Deadline for sending communications: March 31
The Group of Zeolites of the Spanish Catalysis Society (SECAT), under the auspices of the International Zeolite Association, cordially invites you to participate in the 20th International Zeolite Conference, IZC-2022. This will be held from 3rd to 8th July, 2022 in Valencia, which is one of the most attractive cities on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. The IZC-2022 will be preceded by a Pre-Conference School aimed at spreading the knowledge on fundamental and application of zeolites and other porous materials. The objective is also to promote discussion among young researchers, PhD and Post-doc students.
The Conference will continue encouraging fundamental an applied science on ordered porous materials, including microporous zeolites and aluminophosphates, MOFs, mesostructured materials, porous hybrid solids, etc. The main topics of this conference will cover synthesis of porous solids, advanced characterisation and modelling, catalytic applications, gas adsorption and separation, natural occurring zeolites and novel technological uses of zeolites and related materials with especial emphasis in energy, sustainability and decarbonisation technologies. All these topics are covered under the umbrella of the main scientific concept of the 20th International Zeolite Conference leitmotiv ‘Porous materials, a tool for a Sustainable Development’
The purpose of the 20th International Zeolite Conference is to bring together academia and industry with the objective of exploring, reflecting and sharing ideas with regards to the impact of research and technology on Porous Materials. The development of these materials and applications will require integrative research for a better understanding that will open their possibilities to contribute in the solution of present and future scientific and technological challenges.
The deadline to send communications to the IZC-2022 is now open and ends on March 31.
