She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid (1987) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (1997). In 1992, she joined the ITQ to work on her doctoral dissertation, and since 2004 she has been a member of the ITQ staff as a Senior Technician at the UPV. In 2025, she received recognition from the UPV for her research capabilities. She is a member of the research group on Porous Materials for Adsorption, Separation, and Environmental Applications. Her primary area of research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of micro- and mesoporous materials with applications in catalysis and adsorption.
