Courses and Postgraduate
Master and PhD courses in sustainable chemistry.
The master and the PhD courses in Sustainable Chemistry are included in the UPV postgraduate program. Both of them have evolved from the PhD program in Sustainable Chemistry (RD 778/1998) given at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Universidad de Castilla la Mancha and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, that has achieved the official “quality mention” in all its editions given from today.
The master and the PhD courses in experimental and industrial organic chemistry
The Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in coordination with the Universitat de Valencia, Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU, Universitat de les Illes Balears and the Universitat de Barcelona offer the Master and PhD courses in experimental and industrial organic chemistry. Some aspects related to the scientific knowledge, technology and industry progress in the area of organic chemistry are shown. This area of chemistry is very important for the industrial sector, for example, petrochemistry (polymer synthesis), food industry, pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry, synthesis and properties of new materials based in organic compounds, etc.
The aim of the various topics covered by this course is to provide students with the basic skills necessary to manage autonomously using the laboratory equipments existing at ITQ, as well as for the interpretation of the results obtained therefrom .
This is a theoretical and practical course, with a mainly applied orientation, and on an annual basis, for scientific, technical and/or in training staff, especially those from the ITQ, which could require handling the equipments.
